50 for 50 Cycle Challenge - Prep Guide

The 50 for 50 Cycle Challenge is only a few days away! To help you prepare, we’ve created a short guide to get you ready to ride.

Do a walk around of your bicycle.

Make sure you have the right gear.

Plan your route.

There is no need to cycle 50 KM in one day if you’re new to cycling. Plan out a riding schedule that works for you over the week.

Download a tracking app.

Tracking your KMs on an app will make it easier to check on your progress. We’ve created a 50 for 50 Cycle Challenge Strava group to make riding together while apart even easier.

Check the weather.

This time of year, temperatures can get very hot. Make sure that you check the weather before you leave for a ride and have enough water if you’re choosing to ride in the heat.

Take pictures!
