Step 1: Initial Inspection
First, every bike is initially inspected for any obvious defects which include frame cracks, light to heavy scratches, dents or inoperable parts. Anything that is not considered regular "wear", immediately fails the inspection and is not sold.
Step 2: Complete Wash
If the bicycle has passed the initial inspection, it is then placed in our wash bay where it is carefully washed with a non-abrasive shampoo, degreaser and a series of soft brushes to remove any dirt and build-up that may be clogging the components.
Step 3: Polish & Protect
After the complete wash, the bicycle frame is hand-polished with industry-leading compounds that are designed to rejuvenate paint from fade damage and remove any light scratches in the clear coat. It's then sprayed with a protective coat to keep it shining longer and to help keep dirt and water away.
Step 4: Detailed Inspection
The bicycle is then placed on a lift and each part/component is tested and inspected to ensure that they are fully operational and are not over-worn past acceptable levels of use.
Step 5: Parts Replacement
Finally, all parts that are non-operable or worn past acceptable/safe levels with brand new parts. Common items include brake pads, tires, and grips.
